Conn studied at Trinity College Dublin (TCD) gaining a B.A in Medicinal Chemistry and an MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences. He spent a further year as a PhD researcher focusing on the development of hydrogels with implications for use in biomimetics, drug delivery and anti-cancer treatments. Conn then joined the patent profession in September 2021.
Conn is a student member of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA) in the UK and of the Association of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys (APTMA) in Ireland. He is also a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
Conn is also completing his Irish Patent Attorney qualification, and has recently passed the Irish Patent Law Exam which he sat in April 2023.
