Through her work and studies, Sonica has gained a deep understanding of the intricacies of trade mark law.
Sonica is a qualified solicitor and notary in South Africa and this, together with her valuable practical experience in Irish and European trade mark law, provides her with a diverse range of legal knowledge allowing her to navigate the complexities of trade mark prosecution and enforcement. Sonica has substantive experience in trade mark clearance searches, assisting clients with holistic trade mark filing strategies, the filing and prosecution of trade mark applications through to registration, conducting of intellectual property due diligence investigations and domain name objections before the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
